write like you're running out of time

Got my first "Fauci Ouchie"* this afternoon. So far no bad reactions or side effects, aside from the injection site being a little sore, but it has only been about four hours. We'll see what the rest of the night and tomorrow bring.

I've never watched the reboot of the Ducktales series, not even after Lin-Manuel Miranda took on the role of Fenton/Gizmoduck. But after seeing bits and clips of the series finale in the last couple of days on TV and on YouTube, June Duck has joined my cabal of muses. 50/50 on whether or not she'll get an RP journal and if I'll ever play her anywhere. And then there's the Ducktales OC that's started to take form in my head as well...

I've got to stop mixing the soundtracks of Tin Man and Wicked together.

For tonight at work, during the downtime before going through closing procedures, the muses came up with a new crack!pairing and God help me, I think I like it:

Glitch(Ambrose)/Elphaba.

My muses have gone off the deep end.

They still won't leave me alone. I've been assaulted with two more crossover ideas: one is Avatar/Mysterious Cities of Gold in which Zia somehow winds up in the Avatar world and and learns that she is a Firebender, and the other is W.I.T.C.H./Code Lyoko in which Hay Lin joins the Lyoko team somehow, someway.

Speaking of Avatar, what I read in this article looks promising: http://www.asmzine.com/features/conventions/sdcc05/sdcc05_avatar_report.html. Knowing me and my fondness for younger characters, I was of course taken with the new character of Meng.

A young girl named Meng will be introduced, and she may or may not have a slight crush on Aang.

Hopefully she'll be more than just a one-shot character, but even if she is I know that won't stop my muses from "adopting" her the way they do all my favorite characters.
