Got my first "Fauci Ouchie"* this afternoon. So far no bad reactions or side effects, aside from the injection site being a little sore, but it has only been about four hours. We'll see what the rest of the night and tomorrow bring.

I've never watched the reboot of the Ducktales series, not even after Lin-Manuel Miranda took on the role of Fenton/Gizmoduck. But after seeing bits and clips of the series finale in the last couple of days on TV and on YouTube, June Duck has joined my cabal of muses. 50/50 on whether or not she'll get an RP journal and if I'll ever play her anywhere. And then there's the Ducktales OC that's started to take form in my head as well...

Ooh, congrats! I still have to wait a while for my vaccine myself, plus figuring out how to schedule my allergy shots around it when it happens.

The new Ducktales is really good and I highly recommend it. Waiting to watch the finale until I can see the last few episodes leading up to it. The Tale Spin crossover I am dying to see.

Thanks! My boss worked it out with the county health department for us to get vaccinated if we wanted, since no one who works at the library falls under my state's current eligibility rules.

Hope I didn't spoil anything for you! It does look interesting, I'll grant. And I've been on a bit of a LMM kick since Mom and I finally watched Hamilton a couple of weeks ago.

Yup! Tiredness is starting to kick in a bit more, and I had some chills earlier, but otherwise side effects aren't too bad.

Ah-hah. I don't swim around much in the Twitter-sphere, so Facebook was the first time I'd seen it.

I highly recommend the new Ducktales. It does have a bit of twee going on, but you expect that with Disney. What really sells it is that the writers know some of the audience is people who grew up with the original shows*, make their nods, but don't make too big a deal about it. Also I just really appreciate what they did with the female characters. Gee, Webby, how come Disney lets you have two girlfriends and ninja skills and spoiler spoiler final episode spoiler?


* I might have made incoherent noises seeing a Gadget cameo. And that Gummi Bears nod.
