I highly recommend the new Ducktales. It does have a bit of twee going on, but you expect that with Disney. What really sells it is that the writers know some of the audience is people who grew up with the original shows*, make their nods, but don't make too big a deal about it. Also I just really appreciate what they did with the female characters. Gee, Webby, how come Disney lets you have two girlfriends and ninja skills and spoiler spoiler final episode spoiler?


* I might have made incoherent noises seeing a Gadget cameo. And that Gummi Bears nod.
