Christmas Re-cap 2008
Dec. 26th, 2008 12:09 amWell, Christmas has been over for...*checks clock* about fourteen minutes now. Had a fairly good run this year. Mom and Dad surprised the hell out of us by getting a Wii. A few of the games that came with it we probably won't be using so I'm going to see about donating them to the library. At least that way I know they'll get used. And while I suck at some of the Wii games (-9 at pool. Go me!), I discovered that I haven't lost a step when it comes to Super Mario 3.
Received some more sweaters for work. The brother totally surprised me by getting me jewelry, a nice necklace from C.J. Banks. Also got the first two seasons of NCIS and the third season of CSI: NY.
We got Tiger a new collar and a catnip mouse for his first Christmas. So naturally, he spent most of his time tunneling through the wrapping paper on the floor (though he might have had a little 'nip high going at the time). And it's damn funny watching him trying to chase the Wii cursor on the television screen.
No Christmas Day with the Gyorkos clan this year due to scheduling conflicts. Instead, everyone's coming to our house on Saturday. At least that gives us some time in between Christmases to get the house ready for company again. So, since we had nothing to do today (besides try the new game system out) some of the Beitel clan got back together for lunch out.
In non-Christmas news, I've discovered Numb3rs. Snagged the first season from the library the night before last, and I've been watching random episodes. I think I could get into it.
