Dude, I don't think the LA team realizes how lucky they were that they got Abby back when they did. Seriously, they dodged a major bullet there. Although it would have been awesome to see Gibbs and the rest of the team show up all pissed off because a) someone dared hurt Abby and b) the LA team managed to lose her in the first place.

You'd think the bad guys would have learned by now: no one messes with the Goth lab rat and lives.

And cheers for continuity nods! Abby warning the team about the booby-trapped door via finger-spelling was genius and so something she would do.
