So, no one around the house was planning on doing anything remotely interesting today. While the rest of them stayed home I went up to Rockford. Hit Tomorrow is Yesterday since I hadn't had a comic fix in almost two months.

(is it mean of me to say that, compared to Barnes & Noble, TiY's selection of manga sucks?)

Anyway, came away with a relatively small haul; five comics and two graphic novels - CSI's Dying in the Gutters and the "Betrayal" arc of Lions, Tigers and Bears. I'm currently 22 pages into Dying in the Gutters, and snickering already. Why does it not surprise me that Gil Grissom's favorite comic book character is Ant-Man?

Afterwards I swung by Barnes & Noble and picked up season 4 of CSI: NY. I think NY is currently replacing Miami as my favorite CSI series. And Sid Hammerback is definitely my favorite character; adding Robert Joy to the cast of NY was a master stroke of genius.

Now I'm home again, and we're back to boring. And cold (it was warmer in my car than it was in the house when I left).
