Writer's Block: Bah Humbug Day!

You want me to rant about something, LJ? Okay then. How about I rant about the way you assholes completely fucking buggered up the comment pages?
I mean, seriously? Are you not listening to the majority of your users deliberately? How has it completely escaped your notice that WE DO NOT LIKE THE CHANGES AND WE WERE HAPPY WITH THINGS THE WAY THEY WERE?!? We liked having subject lines in our comments. We liked having the drop down, alphabetical list-style menu for our user icons. We liked being able to click a link and move threads to the left so they weren't all scrunched up on the right side of the page. We liked having those options available to everybody, not just people who chose not to disable customized comment pages in S2.
NEWSFLASH: Your designer doesn't know half of what he thinks he does. He obviously doesn't know the users, otherwise he wouldn't have cocked things up as badly as he has right now.
Because you know what? People do use the comment subject lines. We use them for meme communities, for roleplaying to help keep threads straight. Hell, we use them in normal LJ entries as another way of expressing our feelings.
THIS IS NOT OKAY! DO ME A FUCKING FAVOR AND LISTEN TO YOUR USERS FOR A GODDAMN CHANGE! WE DO NOT LIKE THIS! CHANGE IT THE FUCK BACK!
Because if you don't, one of these days you're going to fuck things up so badly that you know what will happen? All those users, paying and non-paying, who always threaten to move over to InsaneJournal and Dreamwidth and leave LJ behind? They will follow through with their threats. And then your mighty little empire will be nothing.
