Okay, it all started back when Cyn had her PR and Digimon message boards and I was a general newbie to fandom and the Internet as a whole (this was way back in 1999). Since I was pretty big into Sailor Moon at that time I picked 'Iapetus' as my online name, Iapetus being a moon of the planet Saturn (and Sailor Saturn being my favorite Sailor Senshi). It was the name I posted to the board under and that I started writing fanfiction under. And it was what a majority of the people I've met online have come to know me as, since I rarely give out my real name.

At some point in time at the boards, and for some reason I've forgotten now, I added the title of "Sailor" to my username. I went around as "Sailor Iapetus" for a while, and then later I upgraded again to "Lady Iapetus".

So there really wasn't much thought put into my LJ username; I just typed 'ladyiapetus' into the Account Name box and off we went. I've got more interesting stories about how I came up with the usernames for some of my RP pups...
