Okay, so I borrowed this meme from memlu. Being a big bookworm and all, I figure it's right up my alley. So, here's what to do. Under the cut are the first lines of fifteen of my favorite books (actually, one is from my favorite short story). You, the reader, have to guess which book the line is from. If you guess correctly you get however much time you spent trying to figure out the answers back the satisfaction of a job well done.

As people guess the titles I'll edit the post to include them with their corresponding lines. I'll let this run for about five days or so (or until I get bored), then post the titles that no one guessed.
