It's not. Someone posted the YouTube link to TurboNick's preview of this week's Avatar. And the two main things people are complaining about are the Sokka abuse (which, granted, he does seem to be getting more than his fair share so far this season) and how Toph is a bitch and treats people like crap and they hate her and hope she gets her ass kicked soon.

I've been nearly snarked at twice for attempting to defend her over at the main Avatar comm. Won't be trying that again anytime soon; people don't wanna listen.

Yeah, sucks for Sokka. I like him as comic relief, but he should get a little more credit this season, especially after the whole Yue thing.

Oi. Wish these Toph bashers would give it a break. So she's not a sweet little angel? Big frickin' deal. You wouldn't be either if you were literally locked away from the rest of the world, forced to hide your power, and had utterly useless parents who say they love you but don't show it with what they've done. That's what I like about her--she's a creature of her own creation; she developed this personality to survive, unlike Azula, who's just a psycho bitch for no reason apparently (no, I'm not bitter about the whole Iroh situation, really I'm not).

Oh, dear lord. Give the poor girl some time to adjust, people! I think everyone has forgotten that Toph has lived a ridiculously sheltered life, regardless of how she was "rebelling" against her upbringing.

It's doubtful she's been in many social settings that weren't controlled. And I highly doubt she's been around people her age for extended periods of time. No wonder she doesn't know how to handle it right off the bat!

It's just... Don't people think before they start clicking their fingers on their keyboards?

And I said something to the same affect on the comm where I saw this, and all I got in response was "I've read her background and she still needs her ass kicked" and "she's too used to winning and she's a sore loser and I think she needs her ass kicked too".
