1. The character you first fell in love with:
The Fourth Doc. I have this affinity for odd, outside-the-norm characters, and you can't get much more "outside the norm" than Four.

2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now:
It's a tie between Doctors Three and Seven. Seven because I'm a bit of a sucker for a Scottish accent, and Three because Jon Pertwee is just so damned awesome.

3. The character everyone else loves that you don't:
Eight. I dunno why; I'm just...indifferent to him.

4. The character you love that everyone else hates:
Adric and Harry Sullivan, the former because I have a soft spot for characters who are usually bashed for no good reason (Motomiya Daisuke, Shibiyama Junpei, etc). And

severa is right; Harry is the gayest naval doctor ever!

5. The character you used to love but don't any longer:
Leela.

I'll come out and admit it right now - Lynn Minmei.

2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now:
Exedore. Dunno when, why or how it happened, but it did.

3. The character everyone else loves that you don't:
Hmm, tough call. Gotta say pretty much everyone from the New Generation saga simply for the reason that I never saw that saga.

4. The character you love that everyone else hates:
Dana Sterling. And even though I dislike repeating myself, Minmei.

5. The character you used to love but don't any longer:
To be completely honest, both Rick Hunter and Lisa Hayes.

1. The character you first fell in love with:
Even though he didn't show up until about halfway through the series run, Luka.

2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now:
Romano. And Weaver. And Dubenko, who so has a crush on Abby. Is it too early for me to declare myself a Dubenko/Abby shipper?

3. The character everyone else loves that you don't:
John Carter. He's a nice guy and a good doctor, but he's not the only member of the show's cast, people.

4. The character you love that everyone else hates:
Kem. Mother of baby George (*sniff*) and the woman who made Carter the happiest that he's been in a long time - happier than he was with Abby, even. I keep praying that the finale of this season of E.R. has Carter returning to Africa so that he can be with her.

5. The character you used to love but don't any longer:
Doug Ross.

Wembley. Gotta love that shirt.

Boober, just because there's a lot of fun that can be had in writing him in Muppet fanfic.

Junior Gorg. When I was a kid, I hated the fact that he tried to kidnap the Fraggles. Of course, my attitude towards him has softened, mainly because of the song "Dum of a Son of a Gun" and because Richard Hunt is no longer with us.

Again, Boober, but I don't think anyone *hates* him per se, just because he doesn't like to have fun and his last you-know-what is always worked doesn't mean he's not a great character.

5. The character you used to love but don't any longer.
Wander McMooch. He has one cool song in the whole series but other than that, he's an asshole.

THE MUPPET SHOW

1. The character you first fell in love with.
Miss Piggy, because she was so glamorous.

2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now.
Floyd Pepper. As the years went on I realized how 'adult' he and the rest of the Electric Mayhem really were.

3. The character everyone else loves that you don't.
Marvin Suggs, who was only funny for about two episodes. When I saw his segment on the Raquel Welch episode, plus Frank Oz's comments about him, my attitude changed completely.

4. The character you love that everyone else hates.
There is something about Uncle Deadly. Maybe because his original pencil sketch was so bad-ass. If I were to get a tattoo, that'd be it.

5. The character you used to love but don't any longer.
Animal. And technically, I still think he's cool, I just think he's a bit overexposed given that he started out as a second-tier character.

SESAME STREET

1. The character you first fell in love with.
Prairie Dawn, especially after hearing her version of "I Want A Monster To Be My Friend".

2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now.
Grover. Three words: Mexican waiter skit.

3. The character everyone else loves that you don't.
Elmo. And to tell the truth, I'm getting used to him, again, it's a case of overexposure, while some of the more underrated Muppets are sitting in the Henson storage closet.

4. The character you love that everyone else hates.
Don Music, although technically, while the Muppet fans love him, parents and educators raised enough of a stink over his constant frustration and banging his head on his piano that he was eventually retired, and this was even before Richard Hunt died.

5. The character you used to love but don't any longer.
Hmmmm...that's a tough one. Does the periwinkle Anything Muppet count?
