I stoled it from
innerbrat. And from
bobomagicksock.
Look at your LJ userpics list. If you have fewer than 50 icons, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five icons, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five icons, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em. List them on your LJ, and tell everyone exactly why you have it, why it's interesting to you, and what significance it has. And who made it.
I have 103 iconsand also no life. So we're going every tenth icon. Maybe I can mix it up and do this again with different icons... *muses*
: Hi, my name's Kim and I am an Extreme Makeover: Home Edition fangirl. EM:HE is one of the few reality shows I'll watch (that, and Project Runway. And Celebrity Duets for however long Jai Rodriguez hangs in there). And everyone had better watch when they air the episode of the build the team did in Hendersonville, KY. This icon was made by Yours Truly.
: One of my Dubenko/Abby icons, made by
stars_fell. Even after the events of last season and the whole "Luka/Abby baby" thing, I'm still a Dubenko/Abby shipper at heart. It's just my fondness for the person who's not the strong, handsome male lead getting the girl. That, and also my current aversion to anything that is Carby (which is why I don't venture into the ER section of the Pit anymore, because that's all the ER authors seem to write. Why can't people accept that Abby can find happiness with someone who's not Carter?). At least there's always TM roleplay...
: And this cute girl waving and grinning for the camera is Meng, a one-shot character from Avatar: The Last Airbender. I often refer to Meng as "a rare flower", which comes from one of her lines from the episode she was in. I'm hoping she might make another appearance before the show is over (hey, if they're bringing back Jet, and Suki...). Icon was made by me, although the screencap came from Firebender.com. At least, I think it did...
: Guess what? Another Avatar icon! I dubbed it as "United We Stand" in the keywords, because lets face it, it sums up that shot perfectly. Sokka and Katara standing around Aang, showing their support of him, Momo perched on Aang's shoulder, everyone facing towards the horizon waiting for the next adventure...you could probably make a poster out of it or something. Icon made by me, screencap from Firebender.com again.
: Yes, another Avatar icon. Its significant for one reason and one reason only - it's my third attempt at making animated icons. Icon made by me, screencaps from Firebender.com and Avatar Spirit.
: It's the Fourth Doctor. That's...really all the explanation necessary. Icon by
deralte.
: Digimon was one of my first fandoms, and Tamers is probably my favorite out of all the seasons. Unfortunately I don't get to use this icon as much as I'd like. Icon, once again, made by me.
: In the early 1980s (like, when I was just a little bitty baby), there was a television show called "Tales of the Gold Monkey". And on it Roddy McDowall (one of my favorite actors... *ahem*) played Bon Chance Louie, the island magistrate of roguish charm and sometimes questionable morals. To quote the series bible "He might kill you, but he'd never embarrass you." Come to think of it, I think Louie and Iroh might get along well... Anyway, icon by
mythichistorian.
: It's been, what, three icons since we've had an Avatar icon? Well, here you go. For those who don't know, the black and white monster currently roaring at/blasting that monkey there (it is a monkey) is Hei Ba, a normally peaceful Forest Spirit. Anyone who has seen this particular scene from "Siege of the North, Part 2" would agree that the caption is quite appropriate. Icon created by me, screencap from Firebender.com.
: And last but not least, we finish up with a second Doctor Who icon. This one is a quote from the Seventh Doctor. I forget who the Doctor was saying it about, but I just love this quote. Icon made by
kajcarter.
