It sucks, but I can understand. Vaughn will have written 42 issues as of #24, and Alphona will have drawn a great many of those by the time this rolls around. That's a lot by today's standards.

And it's like he said, it's best to go out on top. If it was just a matter of him not having the time to work on the book, Marvel WOULD work with him. Look at Heinberg and Young Avengers, the delay of Civil War, and several other things over the years. Marvel really is in the corner of the creators (though often not the retailers. Heh.), so you know this is all done with the best of intentions. ^^

And honestly? If he's not concerned and thinks the next team will do great, I have no reason to doubt him right now. (Though I've not yet read Runaways/Young Avengers #2 yet, so I don't know how things have continued there yet, and am trying to avoid finding out until I get my hands on it. XD )
