Bush is a pompous, egotistical, bigoted idiot-moron-cretin.

Remember how Massachusetts decided to make same-sex marriages legal in that state?

Bush is gonna do something about it

I, for one, would really like to know how he's going to "fix" this. What, is he going to take away Massachusett's state constitution and make them rewrite it, or is he going to rewrite it for them?

Sanctity of marriage my ass...if you ask me, the sanctity of marriage is more endangered by things like abusive spouses than two people of the same sex wanting to tie the knot.

Definite winner of the Statler & Waldorf icon tonight...

Yes, it will be interesting to see what he tries. Constitutional amendment, perhaps? Nothing less would be legal.

Full faith and credit shall be given in each state to the public acts, records, and judicial proceedings of every other state.
-U.S. Constitution, Article IV, Section 1

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.
-U.S. Constitution, Amendment X

And while I'm at it, here's what I think is the relevant section of the Massachusetts constitution:
All people are born free and equal and have certain natural, essential and unalienable rights; among which may be reckoned the right of enjoying and defending their lives and liberties; that of acquiring, possessing and protecting property; in fine, that of seeking and obtaining their safety and happiness. Equality under the law shall not be denied or abridged because of sex, race, color, creed or national origin.

I'm celebrating the Massachusetts decision right now. :] And, being something of a Bush supporter, I'm very disappointed by him. (This has, alas, been happening a lot lately - with most politicians.) Is it right to want to smack the President upside the head?

And I love that icon. XD

Shouldn't someone "fix" Bush? (If you asked me, they should've done that a long time ago...like right after he was born.)
