Akino, I know what you're going through.
I think it's finally happened. I can't write straight, one-fandom fic anymore. All the muses seem to want from me nowadays are crossovers, crossovers, crossovers! If it's not Juniper Lee/TMNT (new series), it's Voltron/Sailor Moon or X-Men Evolution/Thundercats.
Here, if you're interested, is a list of some of the plots my muses have flung at me lately. A couple are straight, one-fandom ideas but most are crossovers. Maybe if peoplebug me are persuasive enough, I'll consider writing one or two. At the very least, maybe writing them down will ease the tension.

Fandom(s): Harry Potter/Life and Times of Juniper Lee
Set during the last chapter(s) of HBP, and before the Juniper Lee series starts. Although she doesn't remember it, Juniper Lee was at Albus Dumbledore's funeral.

In a alternate universe of SM, the Senshi and their friends (with a few exceptions) all attend a magical school in Japan, until Death Eater attacks force the students to be evacuated to schools in other countries. Usagi and Co. wind up at Hogwarts, sometime during what would have been Harry's seventh year (assuming that the school reopens after Dumbledore's death). This plot bunny I actually rescued from a fic I came across while trolling the SM crossover section of the Pit.

Fandom(s): Life and Times of Juniper Lee/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (new series)
Simply put, June's grandmother (Ah Mah) heads to the Battle Nexux for the Tournament, and decides to take June along since it's part of her duty as Te Xuan Ze to meet the Ultimate Daimyo and learn about things like this. Naturally Monroe and Ray Ray (June's little brother) tag along, and the typical chaos the Lee family is known for ensues. If this ever gets written, expect appearances by Splinter and the Turtles.

Prince Zuko (reluctantly) seeks help from Aang, Sokka and Katara after his uncle Iroh falls ill/is wounded.

Hay Lin, one of the girls of the W.I.T.C.H team, somehow winds up in the Avatar world. Unable to transform, she is believe to be/mistaken for an Airbender (because of her wind manipulating powers) and joins Aang, Katara and Sokka on their journey as she seeks a way back home. I'm thinking the muses might also want to combine this with the above solo Avatar plotbunny.

Fandom(s): X-Men Evolution/Thundercats
Again with the throwing of characters into new dimensions. This time it's Wilykit who winds up in the Evo universe through unknown methods, and enrolls as a student at the Xavier Institute. If this one gets written, watch for my interpretations of Evo-ized versions of various X-Men comic characters like Blink or Magick.

The Quest Jet crashes in/near Bayville, the X-Men comes to the Quest kids' rescue. Friendship and bonding ensues. Muses also want a relationship between Danielle Moonstar and Hadji.

And in other news, I think I'm coming down with a cold. It's only the beginning of September. I haven't subbed at the school yet this year so I haven't been around little, germy kids. Yet for some reason I started feeling that telltale scratchiness/soreness in the back of my throat last night. Joy.

You know, we should form a support group, what with all the muses want us to do. I've got the Naruto muses actively warring with the Batman Beyond/JLU muses while the Digimon muses watch. And the Witch Hunter Robin muses are still on their coffee break.

A support group sounds like a good idea. A very good idea.
And even though I only made it last night, that icon is becoming one of my favorites. I've been going on a video binge for the past week or so, going through all my old tapes to see what I want to keep and what I can use for "blanks", and using my digital camera to cap like mad. And that bit from Scenes from a Hat was just begging to be iconed.
