40 is the new...40?

So...I'm officially 40 today. I have no idea how I feel about that.  On the one hand, milestone birthday; "over the hill" and all that.  But on the other, birthdays haven't really been that exciting for me since at least my mid-twenties.


I'm loving my Switch Lite. When I got it it was with the intention of playing Mario Kart, but lately I am all about Animal Crossing: New Horizons. 

While perusing the Animaniacs tag on Tumblr I discovered there is a section of the fandom devoted to shipping Yakko with Max Goof from the Goofy movies.  I think I'm on board with it.

Happy birthday! 40 sounds kind of weird, but also, I feel like age is also very subjective. Because I've been old and grouchy since at least 15.
