In light of LJ's latest assfuckery, I've decided to dust off this old account (not that I used either of them very much in the last few years, but I digress). Haven't decided yet whether I'll just let my LJ account sit and not crosspost/update it anymore, or if I'll delete it. My LJ RP accounts I'll probably just let go when the next purge comes around; the ones I really want to save have already been imported over to Dreamwidth anyway.

So, I'm back. In case, you know, anyone wants to say hi.

Hey, long time no see!

Yeah, it's been a while! I saw a post today on Facebook about the shit LJ was pulling and from there decided to pull my DW out of mothballs. That, and I've been feeling a bit nostalgic for the old Dive and Diaries days; even considered getting back on AiM.

I don't know if AIM works now? I got a notice that it required new updates if we were going to get it to work. Shaun and I moved onto Discord mostly.

Ah. Never heard of Discord; how easy is it to use?

You can go to the site and sign up. It's not that hard, it's just a little different and takes a bit to get used to.

Okay, so how do I find people on this thing?

Shaun here. Okay, well first, you have your account name and a numerical number after it.

What you can do is add people who give you their name and number to it, like I'm gokaidiend#0392 and you just friend add at the top.
