Maybe this'll teach me not to procrastinate...
So, a couple of months ago I decided to head up a manga club at work. Decided that along with reading a different manga each month we'd do a fun little project, like origami or making candy sushi. For the first meeting I chose the first volume of Hikaru no Go, and decided that we'd try to learn to play Go.
For some reason, instead of taking the logical path and actually going out and finding/buying my own Go board, I took the more naive route and decided to construct my own out of collected bottle caps and a chess or checkers board. Until I realized last week that I didn't have nearly enough bottle caps.
And I waited until today, the day before the first meeting of my manga club, to actually go out looking in stores for Go sets. And finding none.
I suppose my only hope now is that playing online Go will be enough for whoever shows up for the meeting. Or...that no one shows up.
