2004 - A Year In Review

Stolen, with love, from [livejournal.com profile] charliesmum.

For this meme, all you need to do is post the first sentence from the first post of each month in 2004.

And my year went as follows:

January 2004: Hehehehehehehehe...I always did have a small thing for explosions... :) (only sentence in post)

February 2004: Gee, thanks a lot Quatre.

March 2004: Have decided that my next CD aquisition will be the soundtrack to Zanna, Don't!

April 2004: And now I present to you proof that my English education at Monmouth College did, in fact, pay off.

May 2004: Borrowed from [livejournal.com profile] neverwench.

June 2004: Now, [livejournal.com profile] silvormoon, you know better than that! ;) (only sentence in post)

July 2004: no sentence really; just a meme on how I spent my years at Hogwarts.

August 2004: again, no sentence. Just giggling on a quiz about "You Know You're From Illinois If..."

September 2004: Okay, so Mom and I went to the Pec Thing (flea market) today.

October 2004: Lines in bold font are true for me.

November 2004: Yup, count me among those pissed off that the Shrub was elected to another term.

December 2004: Don't know how many of you are in the know... ...but today is World AIDS day. (that's actually a combination of the subject line and first sentence, since they were pretty much one and the same)

And now, just for the kicks, here's that meme in reverse! Post the last sentence from the last post of each month in 2004 :)

January 2004: Applications are available in the lobby.

February 2004: Wish I could remember more of what I dream, especially the recurring ones or the ones that give me good fic ideas.

March 2004: I have a job!

April 2004: You've got a little ways to go before you're a wise-ass.

May 2004: I really need a LoTR icon now...or two...

June 2004: My japanese name is 中島 Nakashima (center of the island) 三千代 Michiyo (three thousand generations). (only line in post)

July 2004: So ask away!

August 2004: This is the post where you state your name and I tell you, in all complete honesty without regard for feelings, what I think of you. (only sentence in post)

September 2004: At least he won't be bothering me anymore...

October 2004: And I guess you got me back for all that candy I took from you, Akino...

November 2004: "Well, that must have been quite an achievement since you told us that she's dead already."

December 2004: "Here's to the new year. May she be a damn sight better than the old one, and may we all be home before she's over." (okay, technically that's two sentences, but the quote just doesn't work as well with just the last one)

In other news, today is a snow day so I don't have to worry about going into sub at the school! I had to work at the library yesterday and we ended up closing early because of the weather. Penny stuck four signs up on the doors saying that we were closing at 3, but did people pay attention to these signs? Nooooo, they just walked right on by them as if they weren't even there. Patrons did the same thing that one Saturday when our Internet service went down.

Now if only my brother would get up so that we could finish clearing the driveway like Mom asked...

Oh, good grief! I graduated in '04--the spring, in fact. Wow. Small universe, huh?

I was History, with a minor in Theatre Performance. Wow, that's so cool and random. :)
