The Olibgatory Christmas Post

This year turned out to be fairly decent as Christmases go. Grandma A being in the local nursing home put a bit of a damper on things, surely, but it was better than having her in the nursing home 30 minutes away or worse in the hospital. And this year instead of going to my other grandmother's house for Christmas Day, we went to my aunt Kay's house where I got slobbered on by their three Newfoundlands.

Didn't do too shabbily in the presents department, either. Got some nice clothes. Got gift certificates for Barnes & Noble, Waldenbooks and Media Play so I'm covered in that department for a little while. I got two books I was wanting. I finally got Secret Bear this year (80s version, the one that talks), as well as the collector's set of Tales of the Gold Monkey DVDs. And my parents totally surprised me by getting me a digital camera, plus rechargable batteries, a memory card and a carrying case, and a printer/copier/scanner (which came free with the camera).

So you might be getting to see pictures of me soon.
