Dear Library Coworkers,

I was looking forward to a nice, relaxing Black Friday spent at home. Therefore it came as a great surprise to me when Ms. M called me up that morning and asked if I was supposed to be working that day. I knew I wasn't scheduled to work, because no one had asked me if I would. As it was, I ended up going in at noon anyway so that Ms. M wouldn't be working alone, because the rest of you either weren't home or had a legitemite reason not to come in.

Therefore in the future, if you need me to work extra hours, I would greatly appreciate it if this were communicated to me in some way. Either paperclip a note to my time sheet where I'll be sure to see it, or else come talk to me directly. Don't assume that either Pen or Marla has talked to me already. This is the third miscommunication about work schedules that's happened since I've started working there; I DON'T want to see a fourth.
