And here we go again...

Yup, count me among those pissed off that the Shrub was elected to another term. Personally I think it's because too many people are afraid of change. They don't want to get used to another President too quick, so they vote for the incumbant and get him another four years in office. And I really, really wish Kerry had stuck it out to see how the vote went instead of conceding. But... *shrugs, sighs*

I expect it will be interesting to see what happens to our country over Bush's next four years as President. The draft will probably be reinstated, my brother may get drafted and sent over to Iraq for reasons I don't think anyone's sure of anymore, and I'll have two people to worry about being over there instead of just one (my cousin in the Marines is over there now), I may get drafted but they'd probably end up kicking me out because of my bad feet, bad back or something. The Constitution will be amended to ban gays from marrying, and I'll be waiting patiently to see if the amendment to ban interracial marriages pops up after it.

The only thing keeping me from making good on any wisecracks about moving out of the country (aside from lack of funds, transportation, etc.) is the fact that come '08, Bush will be evicted from the Oval Office and there won't be thing one he can do about it that time. So there lies my little glimmer of optimism.

EDIT: "America has spoken." *snorts* I guess those of us who have threatened to leave the country if Bush was re-elected don't have to worry about that anymore. Obviously those of us who didn't vote for him don't live in America. Any ideas on what we could call our new country?

I would like to call it Common Sense-ica. Can we do that?

No, wait! Dracanada! (Let's see how many people get the reference.)

I don't think he's going to get that amendment, but he's sure as fuck going to try. He's got to get that congress approval, and I doubt he'll achieve it.

^_^;; Your're not the only one...

I wasn't too happy with him being re-elected myself, personally... Hey, if you decide to make good on your moving plans, let us know, I think more then a couple of the rest of our group are thinking along the same lines right now.

Draft.... *sighs* Try and snag me, and I'll give them the Migraine from heck...

A typical dialogue among Bush supporters:

"Is this it?"

"I fergot!"

"Duh..."
