ER season premiere...
Given what spoilers I've been able to get off the Internet this past summer, I thought for sure Chen was going to wind up dying because of that car crash (she was hardly mentioned in any of them). I'm wondering if she'll be taking a leave of absence from County for a while after this.
Poor Morris...I swear, they should have tattooed "Comedy Relief" on his forehead or something because that's what he was for most of the time that he was in this episode. Hopefully if his character is kept this season he'll be shown in a more competent light more often. Although I hope they don't turn the other intern (the one that wouldn't shake Kovac's hand, the one who's not Shane West) into another "Morris".
Was anyone else expecting that complete 180 turn the Lopez family did? Am I the only one going "what the hell?" here? Last season Mrs. Lopez was bound and determined to keep that baby, and now she's all "You can have custody of him and raise him; we just want to be in his life." I'm not saying I'm not pleased by the turn of events; I'm thrilled as hell. But still...they've got to be building up for something further down the line. They've got to.
And I may be the only one thinking this, but damnit, Kem can't leave Carter! She's the only one of his girlfriends that I've actually liked, and I don't care what anyone else things (especially Carby fans)! I hope Kem comes back later in the season. Carby happened once in the series, it didn't work out so they split up, therefore it shouldn't happen again. End of story.
And I think I like this LJ update page a lot better than the old one. Cleaner and more efficient.
