Girl's night out

Tonight was a fun night. Mom and I went to see Harvey Korman and Tim Conway at the Coronado Theatre. The place looks really nice after it was redone. The only thing I was curious about is who would be brave enough to play an organ that's on a hydraulic platform. I'd be scared to death, personally.

The show was great. Harvey and Tim were in top form, which isn't surprising. I wish I'd thought to bring my digital camera with me because there were some pretty good moments during the show. The best of which, in my opinion, was during the airline sketch when Harvey meant to say "it's genetic" about an allergy and instead said "it's genital." Definately the biggest laugh of the night, bigger than any they got during the dentist sketch. The only thing about the show that I didn't enjoy very much was the woman that was part of the act. She does impersonations; most of them were pretty good, but it seemed like she got as much or more stage time as Harvey and Tim did. And the audience had come to see those two, not her. But that's just my opinion.

Anyhoo, we hit TGI Friday's for dinner after the show. But that was after we found out Old Chicago would be a twenty to thirty minute wait. And we finally got to a table at Friday's after a thirty-five to forty-five minute wait.

But...it was an afternoon/evening well-spent. Wish I'd brought my camera though...
