Today marks the first anniversary of The Axle Incident. Mom mentioned it as we were pulling into the parking lot at the mall. Of course, my brother had to make some smartass comment about the new van doing the same thing...
Had a happy shopping day today. Managed to aquire the first issue of New X-Men: Academy X as well as the Wicked soundtrack and Extended DVD set of Fellowship of the Ring. *huggles DVD*
Ian Holm is now on my list of favorite actors/actors that I admire. I mean, anyone who can portray Bilbo Baggins (my favorite hobbit) in two films and Jack the Ripper in another and do both equally well is great in my book. If Peter Jackson ever does get around to directing a big-screen adaptation of The Hobbit, he had better at least consider Ian to reprise the role of Bilbo.
Now, if only I could convince my muses that writing a Lord of the Rings/Digimon crossover that has a team of Digi-destined based out of the Shire is not a good idea...

WHERE THE HELL DID YOU HEAR THAT?!? And please tell me it was someplace other than IMDb, because I know them to get stuff wrong before.

Yeah, it does...until I sit down to try and plot the damn thing out. Then I get into logistics and everything and...*throws hands up in frustration*

The dragon is spectacularly animated, and Bilbo looks disturbingly young. (Probably because he was young, ne? :P lol)
It's going to be awesome. ^^ *looking forward to it very much*

Like mine is any more logical? ^_~ I started it on a whim, and it grew into something completely out of proportion.
Which reminds me, I need to update sometime soon, since it's been about six months... ^_^;;

Depends on what you mean by "young;" Bilbo was in his fifties when he went on the Quest of Erebor ;)
And I'll have to keep my eyes and ears open for any news, because I certainly haven't seen a trailer or anything like that around. Of course, I'm still waiting for the live-action version of The Last Unicorn and the new Robotech animated series to be released in the next couple years or so as well ;)

Okay, you have a point...I guess ;) But yours had the Digi-destined being transported to ME. My idea has the Shire somehow still existing in the Modern Age and NOT being noticed by humans. How in the world do I explain that?

Yes you do!

Besides, God knows how long filming would take, especially for a 2006 premiere, and I know that Ian Holm's been busy with three other projects (one of which was Day After Tomorrow).
