Yeah, that reaction was definitely "Thanks, Catherine, I'd have been happy pretending that NEVER HAPPENED."

I don't know. I'm getting the feeling that they're definitely building up to something--maybe Grissom dropping in? Though it's only been two seasons, not sure if that's long enough.

Well, how many seasons was Sara away before she returned?

And it's either that, or the writers decided "hey, since we're in the eleventh season why not throw in some references to episodes from past seasons and see how many our viewers catch?"
