Yes! Hooray! Hallelujah! Yippee! And other expressions of great glee and joy.
I am now employed in a steady job!
Last week I put in an application at my local library for the position of part-time clerk. The sign said that it was mostly afternoons and some Saturdays, but it was a far sight better than the hours I had been working in the past few weeks (read: none). Yesterday the director of the library called to set up an interview.
Today I went to the interview. After the questions were over and done with Penny (that's the director) asked me if I wanted the job. I said yes, and I got it. Monday I go in for some training, and I start Tuesday. Right now it's only Tuesdays from 2 until 8 (closing), and alternating Saturdays. But there is always a chance for me to pick up more hours.
So yay me! I have a job!

I've taken to visiting my local library a lot as of late. I'm surprised I'm not referred to as "that weirdo who burns all the CD's". :) But I did get a lot of Muppet music out of that...and made an awesome CD label for "The Count's Countdown" (the pic of Jerry and Count from MC, with Jerry wearing the Muppet eyes).
But congrats for you!
Congrates!
