All right. After tonight's episode, does anybody besides me think that a recurrence of Grissom's hearing loss is going to be a factor in why his character ends up leaving the show?

Ugh, missed it. Was reading for history.

But you know, I'm actually kind of surprised nobody--especially not Ecklie when he was mentioning how a judge might tear their evidence to shreds--mentioned that it was a BAD idea having Grissom listen for the gunshot in "For Warrick." All I could think was "He's legally deaf, even if he's had surgery. No WAY this can be used."
