My throat hurts, and I'm coughing bad enough to bring up spit sometimes.

I have a cold, and it's the beginning of May.

What the hell, immune system?!?

You sure it's a cold and not just allergies? God knows I have them that bad around this time of the year.

Ouch. Hope you get better soon.

Well, if the weather/temperature down your way has been anything like ours not too far north, it's been changeable enough that it could bring such a thing on. I know I've been feeling a sore throat on and off lately myself.

Hope you're feeling better soon, though. I've been there before myself at this time of the year, and it's never fun.

Colds aren't really limited to actual temperature, though they do infect more people during winter months because of reduced immune efficiency, stress and time spent indoors and in close proximity with other people who might have caught it. Spring and summer colds are pretty frequent too due to similar reasons.

Sorry for the pointless data. I should have been an epidemiologist.

I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling well Iap. I hope you get better soon.

Did I just spread my cold through the internet? If I did, I'm sorry.

For serious, though, fluctuating temperatures cause colds more often than in winter, and if your area's been bipolar in regards with weather...

Anywho, feel better. Bed rest and fluids'll get you through it.
