Finally heard something back from LJ; they haven't received my payment yet.

Figuring that it's been almost three weeks since I sent it out, I'd say it's probably safe to say that the check either got hijacked or otherwise lost somewhere along the way.

This is just great. An opportunity to get a permanent account comes along, and something has to happen to screw it up.

I am THISCLOSE to not even renewing my paid account next year and just going back to a basic account. I'm not going to send LJ any more of my money if it's not going to get there.

Sorry, Akino. Looks like I won't be able to use that icon after all.

Wait, so, that's it? They won't let you send them a new check if this one got lost in the mail? What kind of shitty customer service is that? Will giving out ONE more permanent account a few weeks later kill them? WTF?

Ugh. I hate it when shit like that happens. >.< (Reminds me of a couple of times I got extremely pissed off with Amazon.)

Well, unpaid accounts are still pretty decent, as are paid accounts, but I really hope you're able to sort this stupid thing out and get a permanent account. *is wishing*
