Still waiting for that little e-mail from LJ that says I have a permanent account. I can't remember if it took this long when I renewed my paid account earlier this year or not.

Got an email from B&N saying my book is being shipped out today. Kind of interesting, considering that the book wasn't supposed to be released until July 28.

Of course, now that I check the website again it lists the publish date as just "July 2007". *facepalm*

And none of that really matters because, hey! I'll be getting my Robotech book at the end of the week! ...And have no place to put it because the rest of my books are in boxes in my brother's room. *sigh*

Why is it Insight runs the crappy networks (like Fine Living or the Tennis Channel) on the preview channel for a month, but the good ones like Game Show Network and Sci-Fi only get a week? Consistency, Insight! It's a good thing! And I haven't seen Toon Disney get its allotted preview week, either (though from some of the things I've heard, its not all toons now anyway ~~just like Cartoon Network~~).

Toon Disney isn't just all-Disney either anymore, if what I read about them airing Batman Beyond is true. But in any case, it'd be nice to actually have it. It really should have been made a mainstream cable channel.

They just took Game Show Network off of our regular cable last month, and they also decided to switch the 'random network preview' channel (where we got cool stuff like National Geographic) to another stinking shopping network. So I know how you feel about irritating cable companies. I just hope it doesn't mean Comcast will be making Sci-Fi Channel a special-service network, too; my dad will go into mourning.

(There was a time I'd walk over hot coals for either Toon Disney or Boomerang to be basic/normal/whatever, but TD's change in format is a bit off-putting & all Boomerang's got going for it now is Toonheads, none of the reruns I loved. I guess every network gets stupid eventually.)
