Ramblngs on various things
Finally got to go shopping yesterday. Picked up Sonic the Hedgehog #141, Academy X #5 and Exiles #52. Wasn't too impressed with the end of the Return to Angel Island arc. Truthfully, the concept of the echidna population of Angel Island calling Knuckles "Avatar" spooks me a bit. The latest issue of Exiles is...interesting, to say the least. As for Academy X, loving it as always. I was kind of surprised when the faculty let Kevin go with the feds, not so surprised when the Hellions decided to go bust him out, and very surprised when Sofia accepted Julian's offer to join them on the breakout. However, Xi'an has still not yet made an appearance in the comic, and neither have her siblings. They haven't even gotten a mention. So I ask you, where the hell is Karma?
New C.S.I. novel Grave Matters looks very, very good. Can't wait to read. If only I didn't have laundry and stuff like that to do... *sigh*
I think I've pretty much cemented myself in the Doctor Who fandom: I bought the DVD of Pyramids of Mars yesterday. Now if only those books I won on eBay would hurry up and fucking get here...
Good Extreme Makeover: Home Edition last night. Had the two things happen that I was waiting for: Ty to get run down in the stampede to go demolish the house, and someone not putting up with Ty's antics with the bullhorn. Come on, who didn't laugh when that guy shoved Ty into the pool? You have to admit for all the times he's gone bonkers with that thing, he had it coming. I loved the bedrooms that they did for the sisters; the older sister's bedroom is just beautiful, and the "paint by numbers" room was just awesome.
And one more thing? Michael needs to stop going away.
Finally...Christopher Reeve died. I still can't wrap my head around that.
