It figures. I'm not into the whole High School Musical phenomenon, so I don't tune in to watch the sequel tonight.

So I end up missing the premiere trailer for the T*Witches sequel. Lord knows how many times they'll rerun it between now and October.

*crosses fingers that it'll get uploaded to the 'Net relatively soon*

So, went up to Showplace 14 with the Mom this afternoon to see No Reservations. Cute movie, though not much plot beyond "Single chef must take care of niece after sister dies in car crash, tries not to fall in love with hot new sous-chef". Interesting side note - coming out of the theatre we could see the cooling towers of the power plant way off in the distance. I didn't think you could see those things from Rockford.

After the movie we hit Barnes & Noble for about half an hour. I browsed the New Age section looking for books on ghosts, snagged another J.D. Robb paperback. And in the Teen section I found something that almost made me squee out loud.

The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle. The deluxe edition, which includes the original novel, the short story coda "Two Hearts" that was published two years ago, new intro material and commentary. When I saw that I knew there was no question about whether or not I was getting it.

So again, god bless Barnes & Noble.
