As if I didn't have enough things that all require my money this month, my brain has now decided that I need to upgrade my current iPod nano to the new iPod nano. As if my new iPhone wasn't enough. Thank you, brain.

Maybe I'll put it on my Christmas list for this year...

My BJD family has grown quite a bit since I last posted about them. I got my dark tan Bei and my light tan Isabella. And recently I've fallen in love with Fairyland Dolls; I've already added two Pukifees and one Littlefee to my group.

Here are the hoodlums in question:

We're helping!

The one kneeling beside the suitcase is my Littlefee Ante, Poppy. The smaller one looking at the camera is my Pukifee Zoe Peony. And the one headfirst in the suitcase is Daisy, my Pukifee Flora. Next time I'll post a picture where you can actually see her face instead of her feet.

  • Am currently sans my iPod. The iPod is at this moment at the Apple store/center in California being repaired since it came down with a case of "White Screen of Minor Injury"* on Sunday. It wouldn't be that bad if it weren't for the fact that iTunes likes to slow my computer down a whole bunch and my computer speakers are behaving like two pieces of utter crap (although the Brother could be right and it's actually the sound card).

  • I've narrowed down my next pup for Dive to two possibilities - Meng (coming in via Apharsites, which probably means major self-threading in the future) and Lucy Cartwright/Sister of Mine from the Human Nature/Family of Blood episodes of Doctor Who. Playing Lucy/Sister could prove interesting, especially since I would bring her in post-Family of Blood where her imprisonment has softened her considerably, and make her an ally of the Tamers rather than an enemy like Jeremy/Brother of Mine.

  • Have recently discovered the Granada Sherlock Holmes series, and by extension Jeremy Brett. Needless to say the pocketbook is a tad lighter for having purchased three of the four DVD volumes of the series. Not that I'm complaining... *innocent whistle*

  • I'm listening to Christmas music, so it must be the middle of summer.

  • *"White Screen of Minor Injury" is described as a malady wherein the screen of the iPod inexplicably goes stark white. Everything is still on the hard drive (or at least it was until the Brother restorted it) - it just can't be accessed through the fog of the white screen.

I let my brother borrow my iPod wall-charger, as he's going on some three day retreat up in Wisconsin with his church group.

And I just now realized that now I'm not going to have any way to charge my own iPod overnight at the hotel Saturday when my folks and I go downstate for my friend's wedding, since Jeff gets back Saturday night and we won't be home until Sunday.

Maybe I can convince my mom to make a run up to Rockford tomorrow, so I can buy a car charger for it...
